Sketch to Figma

Sketch to Figma.

At Octopus we've completed our migration and adoption process moving from Sketch to Figma as our main tool for UX and Design.

Moving our whole design system to Figma has been a fairly seamless process and has enabled us to move the team from Sketch relatively quickly.

Couple of reasons why the industry is moving towards Figma;

• Easy migration from Sketch to Figma
• Less need for other tools like Abstract and Invision
• Can use Figma in browser as well as the desktop app
• Can use Figma on both Windows and Mac (Sketch is mac only)
• It's easy to use for designers, researchers and content writers to collaborate on

If you've not already moved to Figma give it some thought, it's a good tool and easier to move than you think.
