Octopus multi-site re-platform project: complete

Joining Octopus in July 2019, I was hired to lead on our Design System (DeepSea) and to oversee the UX & Design of a multi-site re-platform project.

This involved designing an atomic design system capable of catering for each of our business lines that provides a great responsive experience.

A super busy 14 months but I’m absolutely delighted to announce that our final website in our multi-site re-platform project is completed. Introducing Octopus Real Estate website octopus-realestate.com. I’ve worked on Design Systems and website migration projects before but never have seen a system designed, developed and published on so many websites (8) with considerations for; experience, content and compliance so heavily focused on, in such a short time.

A massive massive thanks to all the people involved in this piece of work from the Designers in my team, to our friends in Product, Marketing & Content and our third party dev agency, Big Bite – it’s an amazing triumph for all involved.
