Tile Time was an app game I designed and developed back in 2016. The idea of the game was similar to match the pairs but with a focus on sequences rather than just pairs.

The game was built for iOS using Adobe Phonegap, using HTML5, CSS and Javascript and received over 1 thousand downloads on the Apple app store. The app is no longer on the app store as we didn’t continue to publish code updates.

I ran a full research discovery, user interviews and usability testing on the project, as well as all the wireframes, prototypes, brand and visual design of the game. I also worked on the logic of the puzzles and how each level was formed (there were 40 levels).

Level design

I used game design methodologies to create a consistently increasing difficulty to the levels as the user progressed. These were tested with real users.

Promotional website

I ran a promotional website with SEO blog articles posted every week for 3 months, alongside facebook and twitter social media accounts.

Character illustration style

My background before UX was graphic design and illustration, so I used a lot of my previous experience and exposure of different cartoons and comics to create the brand.
