Accessibility workshop at Octopus

At Octopus there is a real drive for continuous learning and improving where we can.

With this in mind a set up a series of Accessibility workshops with Rocío Calvo Martín, PhD (Accessibility expert) for the Design, Product, Marketing and Engineering departments.

I met Rocio when I was working at Aviva. Upon joining Octopus I understood there was a desire to improve the understanding of accessibility across the team. Once other departments learned what we were doing the workshop had to be extended into two session to cater for over 30 attendees.

It was a great series of workshops, with Rocio providing vital information on how to implement accessibility standards and processes into our organisation.
