Grow in the Design industry - University of Portsmouth

The second part of a two part series of lectures for University of Portsmouth, taking place in 2016.

The second part of this lecture was more focused on how to grow within the Design industry. Again, speaking to 2nd and 3rd year students of University of Portsmouth Creative Faculty students, I talked about my experience of continued learning and development while starting you working career.

The purpose of the talk was to help the students understand that no one is the complete package, nor has all the answers when they start out. But by taking on continuous learning and development they can keep pushing forward and learn new skills.

The talk shared tips for organisation, communication and good learning materials, such as Udemy and General Assembly.

I believe conducting these talks was the foundation for my passion for management.
